November 12, 2019 (Pinedale, WY) – Raven SR announced today their agreement and letter of intent with Zanker Recycling in San Jose, CA, to provide the site and feedstock for Raven SR’s first 25 dry-ton commercial renewable hydrogen production facility, based on its multi-patented Steam/CO2 patented system.

Zanker Recycling is a solid waste and recycling company that began operations in 1985 by developing a landfill into a full-service resource management and composting/recycling facility.  Today, they also include construction and demolition debris and process more than 2,600 tons of mixed debris per day, diverting more than 80 percent of waste they receive from landfilling.

“We are thrilled to partner with Zanker Recycling to make our first renewable fuel facility a reality and divert even more waste from their landfills, turning it into clean, non-combustion fuel sources,” said Matt Murdock, CEO of Raven SR.  “This letter of intent is an important first step in bringing green, renewable hydrogen to the northern California market to help meet the California Energy Commission’s goal that transportation hydrogen be at least 33% renewable and have a carbon intensity of 30 or less.  Our fuels meet and exceed that requirement, and the California EPA has previously ruled our technology as a non-incineration process.”

Raven SR is a Wyoming renewable fuels company, founded on the leading-edge technology developed by IntellergyTM and Dr. Terry Galloway.  Raven SR’s non-combustion, multi-patented, Steam/CO2 reforming process converts mixed feedstock (i.e. biogenic and non-biogenic) into renewable fuel products such as hydrogen, diesel, methane and Fischer-Tropsch fuels.  The non-combustion process has minimal air emissions and significantly reduces greenhouse gases  from start to finish. The skid mounted technology is designed to flexibly switch between input and outputs, and is easily scalable.

Raven SR is contracting with Fluor Corporation on the final design engineering for its production facilities and is working to secure the financing for the San Jose and additional facilities across the U.S. and Caribbean.

“Raven SR can eliminate the garbage piling up in our cities and turn it into low or zero-emission fuels through a method that ensures air quality, and Zanker’s collaboration on this hydrogen fuel project is an ideal means to achieve these goals,” said Matt Murdock.

About RavenSR, LLC:  Raven SR renewable fuels company implements carbon negative fuel technology to transform bio-mass, municipal solid waste, bio-solids, industrial waste, sewage waste, medical waste, and natural gas into renewable energy products such as hydrogen, sulfur and nitrogen-free Fischer-Tropsch liquid fuels (diesel, Jet A, mil-spec JP-8), additives and solvents (acetone, butanol, naphtha, etc.) and electricity (via fuel cells or turbines and/or CAT syngas engines).  Based in Pinedale, Wyoming, Raven SR is in the final stages of manufacturing its first production facility.

About Zanker: San Jose-based Zanker Recycling, owned by Zanker Road Resource Management Ltd., is a privately-owned solid waste and recycling company that began operations in 1985 by developing a landfill into a full-service resource management and composting/recycling facility. In 1998, Zanker Recycling expanded operations by permitting an adjacent landfill site as a construction and demolition debris processing facility. These two facilities process more than 2,600 tons of mixed debris per day. Currently, Zanker Recycling operates four nationally-recognized recycling facilities: The Zanker Recycling facilities are national leaders in construction of demolition debris diversion and composting. Through its aggressive and innovative recycling efforts, Zanker Recycling diverts more than 80 percent of waste they receive from landfilling. zankerrecycling.com
