Matt W. Murdock
Matt is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years’ experience starting and managing multifaceted projects in challenging geographies. Founder of Raven SR, Matt is also a co-founder of Alert Plus, which has patented gas detection systems. A Wyoming native, Matt has been the driving force behind a number of initiatives in his hometown, from broadband to medical care, has served on the town council and sits on several State and non-profit boards. Graduate of Georgetown University.
Matthew H. Scanlon
Matthew has 30 years’ experience managing companies and developing projects in emerging markets. He has developed projects in the energy sector (principally hydropower), agribusiness and other sectors, served on Boards of Directors, advised project company management teams and worked with startups and entrepreneurs. He received his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Finance.
Richard has more than 30 years of success in software, hardware, and new technologies companies. He was an engineer at ARCO responsible for maintenance engineering for half of their refinery in Southern California. His education includes a M.S. in Administration with emphasis on Finance and Quantitative Analysis, and a B.A. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Science.
A Northern California native, Alan endeavored to fashion himself into a human multitool. After studying at USF Alan got his start in fabrication at UC Ergonomics Lab and later worked in fields from aeronautics to art production. A love of variety and a passion for learning have allowed Alan to establish a broad scope of skills and experience.
Joseph brings 30 years of experience in the renewable energy, chemical, nuclear power and semi-conductor industries. As a Process and Mechanical Design Engineer, he brings extensive knowledge of process equipment design, process simulations, pilot-plant operations, nuclear reactor systems design and service support.
Tim has over 25 years of sales & marketing experience in a multitude of Wyoming endeavors. A graduate of Oregon State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering, Tim was a Senior Consultant at Peterson Consulting, a litigation and disputes resolution consulting firm before moving to Wyoming in 1993. Tim was the Chairman of the Board for the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and has been a volunteer firefighter for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS for 20 years.
JuliAnne is a seasoned communications and government relations strategist with 30 years of experience. She owned and operated j4 Strategies, a public relations consulting business, and was Director of Government Relations at USEC (now Centrus Energy Corp.) She has served on the boards of Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities, Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited, and The Murie Center. JuliAnne holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism from Iowa State University.
In Memoriam: Dr. Terry Galloway
Dr. Terry R. Galloway, PhD in Chemical Engineering, and was Section Leader at U.C.’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory managing projects in hydrogen including tritium, oil shale retorting, high-temperature synfuel chemistry, thermochemical generation of hydrogen from water, and fusion energy system design. Galloway was the founder of Intellergy, Thermatrix, Synthetica (now EnergySolutions), and Medergy. With over 37 years’ experience at senior levels in business and engineering, he authored over 225 papers, several books and has filed nearly 50 patents.
